Due Diligence (investment decision-making and financial closure)
About the project
Over several years, Eurus Energy Europe, a subsidiary of the Japanese company Eurus Energy, successfully acquired 20 operational wind farms from Yard Energy. Specific public information about these projects can be found in Eurus Energy Europe's Project Overview. This acquisition, financed by Rabobank, involved due diligence conducted by IX Renewables for both investment decision-making and financial closure.
Of the entire portfolio, except for two projects, all were seamlessly acquired and financed. The effective collaboration with both Eurus Energy and Rabobank enhanced efficiency, particularly during critical decision-making stages. Notably, despite a trusting relationship with Yard Energy, our proactive approach successfully mitigated several risks before they could escalate.
Each project, though developed by Yard Energy, presented unique characteristics and challenges. This necessitated a tailored approach for each, ensuring comprehensive consideration of the distinct aspects and potential complexities involved.
